Forged, Valves and Grooved lines will be presented by Tupy at

Tubotech 2017 and sold in Brazil and abroad

São Paulo, October 2, 2017 – Tupy is bringing three new product lines to the Brazilian market, featuring over 300 items that complement the company's current connection solutions, especially for industrial and commercial construction projects. Featuring the latest developments in the sector regarding strength and ease of installation, they meet the new trends in the hydraulic products market with the quality guarantee of the Tupy brand.

The product launches will be some of Tupy's highlights at the Tubotech 2017 trade fair, held from October 3 to 5 at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in São Paulo. The International Trade Fair for Pipes, Valves, Pumps, Fittings and Components is considered the sector's main showcase in the Americas and is expected to welcome around 15,000 industry professionals.

The new lines are: Forged (high-pressure resistant forged steel fittings), Grooved (quick-assembly fittings and couplings), and Valves (valves for flow and pressure control of extreme resistance). They were developed by the Tupy team considering the most stringent international standards for quality, performance, and materials, in addition to the specific needs of the Brazilian market. Four new items from the thread-seal tape line will also be launched, the first developed especially for installations with metallic systems (malleable iron and similar).

“The three new lines bring high-standard products to compete in the global market, with an excellent cost-benefit ratio for the domestic market,” states Amauri Baggenstoss, Sales Director at Tupy Conexões. “To reach this level, we strategically decided to concentrate the production of these new releases in some of the best and largest global suppliers, in Taiwan and China,” he adds. To guarantee the Tupy seal of approval, all items undergo testing both at the origin and at the company's factory in Joinville (SC) before reaching the market, and they come with the company's warranty and technical assistance.

“Many of our customers were already importing these products and asking us for a solution with the Tupy brand. So, now we offer the market three imported lines with the quality and trust of our brand, strengthening the performance of the sales channels,” comments Baggenstoss.

With products certified by the most stringent national and international standards, Tupy supplies malleable iron fittings for use in large industrial and commercial construction projects, as well as for the sanitation, irrigation, and oil & gas segments, featuring its traditional lines: BSP, NPT (medium and high pressure), Tupypres (with mechanical compression joints), Tupyfix, and Special Items (for customized applications).
