The 10th edition of Tubotech (International Trade Fair for Pipes, Valves, Pumps, Fittings, and Components) features for the first time the participation of the Brazilian Association of Importers of Industrial Machinery and Equipment (Abimei). In addition to bringing some of its members to Tubotech, the entity has set up an island booth and is presenting a schedule of technical content lectures and workshops.
The trade show, organized and promoted by Cipa Fiera Milano, is the sector's main showcase and has been open since October 1st, running through October 3rd at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in São Paulo (SP). Visitor registration can be done on the Tubotech website. Abimei's presence at the event is strategic, given that the Brazilian machinery import sector can benefit from the pipe and tube market, which ranges from small installations, through the automotive industry and civil construction, to oil drilling.
IPC Brasil is one of the four companies that will be on Abimei Island. The other three are Genebre, Remadi, and PR2. Just like IPC Brasil, the first two specialize in fittings and valves, and PR2 is a supplier of laser cutting and engraving equipment.
Important names from the sector will be present at the meetings. Among them is Mariana Barros, consultant at Uno Trade Strategy, who will speak about the new directions of foreign trade in Brazil.
For its part, Genebre will promote a technical course on industrial valves. Meanwhile, Remadi invited engineer Aparecido Henriques Pedro, from Highlight, to discuss the advantages of the grooved coupling connection system.
The events on Abimei Island are free. However, spaces are limited.
Simultaneously with Tubotech, the 4th wire South America – International Wire and Cable Fair takes place, whose products and visitors have great synergy. This year, the main focus is on the new digital tools available for companies to connect with an audience eager for information and to win new partners. Among the sectors present are wires and cables, machinery, equipment and accessories, as well as logistics and various services. The joint events feature the participation of more than 500 national and international exhibiting brands, occupying an area of 20,000 square meters, and an estimated audience of 13,000 industry professionals.
