The trade fairs welcomed visitors from various countries interested in discovering the launches and new products from the 100 exhibitors.
São Paulo, November 1, 2022 – A 11th Tubotech – International Trade Fair for Pipes, Valves, Pumps, Fittings and Components and a 5th wire South America reaffirmed their vocations to drive business and offer quality content. And the participation of exhibiting brands from 15 countries, mainly from Europe and Asia, reinforced the international character of the fairs and the importance of the Brazilian market for new investments.
With the support of the German government and organized by Messe Düsseldorf, nine companies from Germany's wire and tube industry were present at wire South America.
It was three days of networking, business, and client reunions with companies, in addition to the generation of future sales, after three years without the events. For Maurício Macedo, CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil, “the adjustment to the trade fair calendar after the pandemic, the receptiveness of exhibitors, and the return to the previous biennial event format in odd-numbered years are important indicators so that we can already begin preparations for the next edition of the events for the period from October 3 to 5, 2023, at São Paulo Expo.”.
For Paulo Castelo Branco, president of Abimei – Brazilian Association of Importers of Industrial Machines and Equipment, the members left satisfied with their participation in the trade fair. “We had many exhibitors who stopped by our booth and commented on how much they liked the level of the visitors. There were approximately 250 registered attendees who participated in the Congress lectures and enjoyed the fair. This is important because it brings a high standard to this year's Tubotech. We are very happy with the result and hope that next year we can plan an even larger and increasingly better event.”.
Positive review
The visits of qualified professionals interested in doing business were the main highlights pointed out by the exhibitors. For Rene Bialdi, production coordinator of the Atomat, it was very important to participate in Tubotech. “We managed to attract potential new clients and maintain contact with some of our old partners,” he guaranteed. “It was smaller (the trade show) than we expected, but we saw many business possibilities. We will probably return in a future edition.”.
As for Natasha Melo, marketing analyst at PolyExcel, one of the exhibiting brands at wire, stated that the company managed to close deals. “It was very great to participate, we did a lot of business. The traffic at our booth was very good. We received old customers and some new ones. We are interested in participating in a new edition.”
The balance was also positive for the brands that debuted at the fairs. A Brastil Industry exhibited at wire South America with the goal of introducing its products to the market. According to Fábio Bonodono, the company's sales supervisor, the result was pleasing. “We are a new brand and we came to gain market visibility. It is an important trade fair and it has synergy with our company,” he stated.
A Emedi-GH Induction Thiago Rodriguez, the brand's sales manager, also participated in Tubotech for the first time and highlighted that the goal of acquiring new contacts was achieved. “Emedi is an Italian company that has been in Brazil for many years. Now, we are working in partnership with the Spanish manufacturer GH Inducción. We came to the fair with the goal of reconnecting with clients and also expanding our networking. It was important to be here to communicate to the market that we have started manufacturing some imported products at our plant in Cotia, São Paulo.”
Tubotech-Techmei Congress
The partnership between Fiera Milano Brasil and Abimei brought professionals at this edition of Tubotech the Tubotech-Techmei Congress. For two days, fair visitors had free access to specialized content on the main trends and new technologies in the areas of machining, metal cutting and forming, machinery, tools, tubes, fittings, pumps, and accessories, in addition to debates with experts on public policies for the Brazilian industry, robotics, innovation, and professional training, among others.
