The company invested R$ 1.7 million in production machinery, banking on a shift in the national economic landscape
São Paulo, August 2019 – Even though the current moment is one of many uncertainties in the national economy, GDV Ferramentas is betting on an improvement in this second semester and will be at Tubotech – 10th International Trade Fair for Pipes, Valves, Pumps, Fittings and Components, between October 1 and 3, at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, in the capital of São Paulo.
With 27 years in the cutting business, GDV will present its portfolio of cutting tools and will also seek partnership opportunities with customers to continue serving them in the best possible way, according to Jorge Eduardo Ferreira, head of the company's Sales Department.
Earlier this year, according to Ferreira, GDV invested R$ 1.7 million in production machinery, despite market difficulties. This initiative has paid off and, according to the executive, has already yielded good results. “The situation is already showing signs of improvement in some segments and is expected to continue this way through the end of the year,” he believes.
For him, Tubotech, being a trade fair entirely aimed at customers in the pipe segment, meets the company's expectations. “The company is able to serve new clients with very competitive products, and we will find this audience at the fair,” states Ferreira.
GDV is also a representative of Starrett Indústria e Comércio, the largest band saw manufacturer in Latin America. “We are distributors with an accredited and authorized welding station by Starrett, and since the band saw segment is huge, we serve customers in the best and most differentiated way possible, as we are qualified to provide advice to our customers.”.
Simultaneously with Tubotech, will take place the 4th Wire South America – International Wire and Cable Fair, whose products and visitors have great synergy. The joint events will feature the participation of more than 500 national and international exhibiting brands, occupying an area of 20 thousand square meters, and an estimated audience of 13 thousand industry professionals.
