Gilson Santos Bertozzo, Superintendent of Sindisider – National Union of Steel Product Distribution Companies, speaks about the importance of Tubotech, serving as a great showcase for establishing businesses at national and international levels. The 9th edition of the International Trade Fair for Tubes, Valves, Pumps, Fittings and Components strongly showcases the full potential of the pipe and tube industries in the country. “The current situation that industries are going through makes an event of this magnitude revitalize our energies to move forward”, she pointed out.
The executive addressed the value of the steel industry in the country, which is a basic input for the civil construction, machinery, and automotive equipment industries, in other words, areas that demand large capital investments. “As the Brazilian economy shows timid signs of recovery, investments are following that same pace.
However, regarding medium- and long-term expectations, Gilson states that they are the best possible. “It is impossible to look at a country with a housing deficit like ours and with the gigantic infrastructure needs (heavy construction) that we have, without being optimistic about the future of steel. There will be no breath of growth in Brazil without the steel industry participating as a protagonist in this movement. The big catch is managing to survive until that happens.
Sindisider is the trade union of steel product distribution companies, with a nationwide scope. The industries that manufacture and market pipes are those represented. “Thus, it is a great satisfaction to participate in and support Tubotech, an event with such a wide reach that serves to demonstrate how modern and technological our industrial park is in this sector, second to none in any other country,”, Finish.
In this edition, Tubotech will bring together hundreds of exhibitors in 20 thousand square meters, featuring tubes, valves, and fittings, machinery and equipment—forming machines, cutting machines/saws, tube bending machines, and polishing machines—and services such as tube bending, curving, galvanizing, and welding.

WSA will present the latest technologies, products, and services in wire and cable manufacturing and processing.
