Business owners, exhibitors, partners, and organizers of Tubotech | International Trade Fair for Tubes, Valves, Pumps, Fittings and Components, and wire South America, the South American version of the world's largest wire and cable trade fair, wire Düsseldorf, gathered this Monday, 02/07, to get a first-hand look at the news and expectations for the next edition of the events, which will be held simultaneously from October 3 to 5, 2017, at the São Paulo Expo in São Paulo.

The meeting took place at the São Paulo Expo Convention Center, where attendees were able to check out the structure of the new pavilion, which has received major investments over the past two years, making it the most modern exhibition pavilion in South America.

Tubotech, an event created in 2003 and now consolidated as the leading trade fair in the Americas for the sector, is holding its 9th edition in 2017 with expectations of bringing together 550 exhibitors*, across 20,000 square meters of exhibition area and 15,000 highly qualified professionals from the automotive, oil and gas, metal construction, food, furniture, mining, paints, and infrastructure sectors, among others.

With more positive forecasts for the Brazilian economy in 2017, such as the resumption of GDP growth and the process of cutting benchmark interest rates, the expectation is that the scenario will be more conducive to new investments, especially starting in the fourth quarter of the year, when the events take place. “Exhibiting at these trade shows guarantees a real opportunity for the expansion of the sector's business in the current economic context. With low investment and a high focus, exhibiting companies will have the opportunity to maintain direct contact not only with active clients, but above all with potential ones, both from sectors that are already buyers and from the countless others that visit the event,” highlighted Luciano Targiani, director of Tarcom Promoções.

Established in 2003, Tubotech has consolidated its position as the leading trade fair in the Americas for the sector. In 2007, it became a biennial event, keeping pace with market needs. The trade fair offers free admission for professionals and encompasses the entire value chain of the pipe and tube sector: raw materials, pipes and tubes, fittings and accessories, valves, pumps and motor pumps, machinery for production, cutting and forming, finishing, tools, auxiliary materials, and measurement and control.

Tubotech is organized by Cipa Fiera Milano, promoted by Tarcom Promoções, and held by the Brazilian Association of the Metal Pipe and Fitting Industry (ABITAM). Among the simultaneous attractions is the Techshow | Exhibitor Lectures, featuring discussions on topics of interest for the development of the entire market.

At the meeting, the new features of the 3rd edition of wire South America. Present in the market since 2011, wire South America is held simultaneously with Tubotech, whose products and visitors share great synergy.

Daniel Ryfisch, International Portfolio Director for Wire and Tube at Messe Düsseldorf, presented the wire and Tube trade fairs taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 2018, showcasing the magnitude of the events.

According to the executive, the goal of wire South America 2017 is to support and develop synergies in the local market. “This is one of the most important trade fairs in the wire and cable sector for Messe Düsseldorf. It is the only trade show that operates in South America as an international platform and receives strong support from all major associations,” stated the executive during his visit to the country.

This edition of the event will feature the latest technologies, products, and services in wire and cable manufacturing and processing. Among the sectors present will be wires and cables, machinery, equipment, and accessories, as well as logistics and various services.

Wire South America is held by Messe Düsseldorf, organized by Cipa Fiera Milano, in partnership with Tarcom Promotions.

Both trade shows are part of the portfolio of Cipa Fiera Milano, the Brazilian branch of Fiera Milano, a market leader in trade shows and congresses both in terms of the number of visitors and exhibitors, and the excellence of its exhibitions. With offices around the world, it features a portfolio that stands out from other trade show promoters in terms of the range of economic sectors represented and the quality of its events.

In Brazil, Cipa Fiera Milano holds 13 trade shows, encompassing 11 sectors of the economy, in addition to being responsible for publishing targeted magazines in Latin America. Founded in 1977, Cipa was acquired by Fiera Milano in 2011, becoming the Brazilian subsidiary of one of the world's leading trade fair and congress companies.
