Over three days of the event, 13,000 people visited the trade fairs, which are benchmarks for the tube and wire sectors in Latin America, and were able to discover trends and technologies from 500 exhibiting brands.<\/em><\/p>\n

S\u00e3o Paulo, October 2019<\/strong> \u2013 Producing knowledge, disseminating new technologies, discussing solutions, offering entertainment and a space for networking. It is with these fulfilled objectives that the 10th Tubotech \u2013 International Trade Fair for Tubes, Valves, Pumps, Fittings and Components<\/a> and a 4th wire South America<\/a>, organized by Cipa Fiera Milano, with the support of ABITAM (Brazilian Association of the Metal Pipe and Fitting Industry), concluded on Thursday (3), cementing their reputation as the leading trade shows for the sector in Latin America. Over the three-day event, 13,000 people visited the S\u00e3o Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, in the capital of S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n

Allan Werner Reichenbach, Development Manager at Reichenbach Equipamentos, highlighted the quality of the visitors at wire. \u201cThe event was very good, we are really pleased with the results, as we sold some equipment during the fair. We received a very select audience of companies with ready projects, in addition to students, who are our future clients,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

The two trade fairs attracted the interest of professionals such as architects, consultants, controllers, engineers, machinery manufacturers and importers, industrial maintenance managers, and designers coming mainly from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Spain, the United States, India, Paraguay, Peru, Turkey, and Uruguay, in addition to all the states of Brazil.<\/p>\n

At Niehoff, another wire exhibitor, the flow of visitors was pleasing. For Renate Heying, a member of the company's board of directors, expectations were exceeded. \u201cConsidering the current market, we had modest projections for the trade fair, but our booth was filled with people interested in our products all the time.\u201d.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For Guilhemo Varella, manager of Kent do Brasil, the results were positive. \u201cIt met expectations regarding visitors and potential clients. During Tubotech, we solidified deals that were already in the pipeline beforehand, and we expect to finalize other projects. Since the company's operation in Brazil is recent\u2014only one year\u2014we came to the trade fair to increase brand visibility in front of our partners and clients. The expectation for 2020 is that the sector will follow a faster growth pace.\u201c.<\/p>\n

At Tubos Oliveira, the feeling was also one of fulfilled expectations. Rog\u00e9rio Quider\u00f3li, the company's commercial manager, said that the bet for the coming months is an improvement in the national economy. \u201cThis year, we've noticed that the civil construction sector, driven by a higher number of real estate launches, and the railway sector, perhaps due to the release of funds announced by the government, should activate new projects for pipe manufacturers and distributors. During the fair, we scheduled some meetings for the post-event. Our goal in being here is to prospect business and monitor trends.\u201d Starting operations outside of Brazil is in the company's plans.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u201dBoth Tubotech and wire once again fulfilled their roles as ideal venues for opportunities, networking, learning, and respect, bringing together attendees and exhibitors eager to experience and deliver higher quality to the construction sector,\u201c says Rimantas Sipas, Commercial Director of Cipa Fiera Milano. \u201dIn this edition, we had 13% new companies among the 500 exhibiting brands, which is a barometer of the growth and importance of technology in the pipe and wire market.\u201d The next edition of Tubotech and wire is scheduled to take place October 5\u20137, 2021, at S\u00e3o Paulo Expo.<\/p>\n

For the first time, Tubotech featured the participation of Abimei (Brazilian Association of Importers of Industrial Machinery and Equipment) which, besides bringing some of its members to the fair, also promoted technical content lectures and workshops. Fl\u00e1vio Paiva, president of the entity's Deliberative Council, considered the audience \u201cvery qualified\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/strong>Abimei Island was a separate attraction, where we brought together the most experienced companies that lived through the market's peak and are now trying to find a path to recovery. The booths of Genebre, Remadi, PR2, and IPC Brasil were packed almost the entire time with people interacting with the exhibitors, who indeed have great synergy in their product lines. We also had installation, market, and supply specialists, engineers, certification staff, and representatives from standards organizations. Undeniably, we met our established objectives.<\/p>\n
