The editions of the trade fairs promoted by Cipa Fiera Milano are expected to welcome visitors from Latin American countries, Europe, and the USA.<\/p>\n
Next week, with the support of ABITAM (Brazilian Association of the Metal Tube and Accessory Industry), Cipa Fiera Milano is holding the 10th Tubotech \u2013 International Trade Fair for Pipes, Valves, Pumps, Fittings, and Components, and the 4th wire South America, the only event in Latin America to bring together the latest technologies, products, and services in the manufacturing and processing of wires and cables. The events, which are the leading showcases for these sectors, will take place concurrently from October 1 to 3 at the S\u00e3o Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n
For Rimantas Sipas, commercial director of Cipa Fiera Milano, the solid partnership with Messe D\u00fcsseldorf in holding trade fairs is one of the reasons for the success achieved in Brazil. \u201cAnd this year's editions of Tubotech and wire South America are repeating the good results. So much so that there will be 20,000 square meters of exhibition space, with 500 exhibitors and more than 13,000 expected visitors,\u201d said the executive<\/p>\n
The two trade fairs attract the interest of professionals such as architects, consultants, controllers, engineers, machinery manufacturers and importers, industrial maintenance managers, and designers coming mainly from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Spain, the United States, India, Paraguay, Peru, Turkey, and Uruguay, in addition to all states in Brazil.<\/p>\n
Abimei Island<\/p>\n
For the first time, Tubotech will feature the participation of Abimei (Brazilian Association of Importers of Industrial Machinery and Equipment). In addition to bringing some of its members to the trade fair, the organization will set up a pavilion featuring the companies Genebre, IPC Brasil, and Remadi, which specialize in fittings and valves, as well as PR2, a supplier of laser cutting and engraving equipment. Simultaneously, technical lectures and workshops will take place. Important names in the sector will be present at these meetings.<\/p>\n

Data from Abinee (Brazilian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association) reinforce the view that the country\u2019s economic recovery is gaining momentum. Revenue for the electrical and electronics industry reached approximately R$1,461 billion in 2018, a nominal increase of 7% compared to 2017. According to Abinee, this result represents a real increase of 2%, after adjusting for inflation in the sector, which, according to the IBGE\u2019s Producer Price Index (IPP), stood at around 5% last year.<\/p>\n
According to Abinee, the results demonstrate the sector\u2019s great potential. Some segments driving the wire and cable industry, represented at wire South America, stood out in 2018, according to the association, such as Industrial Automation, which had revenue of R$ 4.69 billion, 5% more than in 2017; Components, with R$ 11.11 billion, or 5% more; Installation Materials, R$ 7.54 bi, up 2%; Telecommunications, at R$ 33.48 bi, up 5%; and GTD (Electric Power Generation, Transmission, and Distribution), with R$ 17.77 billion, 9% more than in 2017.<\/p>\n
The indicators reveal the importance of the wire and cable sector in the country. And the 4th edition of wire South America, the only event in Latin America to bring together the latest technologies, products, and services in wire and cable manufacturing and processing, is the opportunity for companies in this segment to get closer to local customers and buyers from other countries.<\/p>\n
To satisfy the demands of this audience, companies are investing in modernization to meet Industry 4.0 (also known as the 4th industrial revolution), which encompasses the main technological innovations in the areas of automation, control, and information technology applied to manufacturing processes, and the wire and cable sector is a major supplier for the systems that will be implemented.<\/p>\n
Therefore, this year, wire's main focus will be the new digital tools available for companies to connect with an audience eager for information and to win new partners.
