The 2019 editions of the trade shows promoted by Cipa Fiera Milano are expected to attract 15,000 professionals from various industry segments in Brazil and Latin American countries.<\/em><\/p>\n

S\u00e3o Paulo, March 2019 \u2013<\/strong>Cipa Fiera Milano launched, on February 26th, the 10th Tubotech<\/a>and a 4th wire South America<\/a>which take place between October 1 and 3 in S\u00e3o Paulo. With the presence of exhibitors and partners, the event also served for an analysis of the country's current situation and for projections regarding the holding of the trade fairs.<\/p>\n

For Rimantas Sipas, commercial director of Cipa Fiera Milano, the strong partnership with Messe D\u00fcsseldorf in organizing trade shows is one of the reasons for the success achieved in Brazil. \u201cAnd this year\u2019s editions of Tubotech and wire South America are repeating those strong results. So much so that more than 80% of wire exhibition space has been sold, and Tubotech is expected to occupy 800 m\u00b2 at S\u00e3o Paulo Expo,\u201d said the executive.<\/p>\n

Directors of the were present at the meeting, held at the S\u00e3o Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, Agena, Reichenbach<\/strong>, Casoretti<\/strong>e TekBrasil<\/strong>. The event was also timely to guide companies on how they can make the most of the two trade fairs. In addition to the exhibition of products and services, in the space of the<\/strong>\u00a0Techshow as brands can hold presentations <\/strong>free. \u201cIt is a great opportunity for business owners to strengthen contacts and prospect for new projects and partnerships,\u201d highlighted Rimantas.<\/p>\n

The event was also a good opportunity to present all the marketing tools offered by the organization and the trade fairs\u201c promotion channels. \u201dWe invest heavily in online and offline marketing to help companies and their clients do business,\" stated Rimantas. Among the actions are the mailing of printed and electronic invitations, online registration, advertisements in leading specialized media, social media, and press relations. Thus, exhibitors can leverage their participation in Tubotech and wire South America throughout all the months leading up to the trade fairs.<\/p>\n

Cipa Fiera Milano expects the two trade fairs to welcome 15,000 professionals, including architects, consultants, controllers, engineers, machinery manufacturers and importers, industrial maintenance managers, and designers coming mainly from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Spain, the United States, India, Paraguay, Peru, Turkey, and Uruguay, as well as from all Brazilian states.<\/p>\n

Positive scenario<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Rimantas, the reforms being announced by the government should give a new \u201cboost\u201d to various industrial sectors, which will be beneficial for trade shows this year. Data from Abinee (Brazilian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association) reinforce this view that the country\u2019s economic recovery is gaining momentum. Revenue for the electrical and electronics industry reached approximately R$ 146.1 billion in 2018, a nominal increase of 7% compared to 2017. According to Abinee, this result represents a real increase of 2%, after adjusting for inflation in the sector, which, according to the IBGE\u2019s Producer Price Index (IPP), stood at around 5% last year.<\/p>\n

The results, according to Abinee, show the great potential of the sector. Some segments that drive the wire and cable industry, represented in the wire South America<\/a>, stood out in 2018, according to the association, such as Industrial Automation, which had revenue of R$ 4.69 billion, up 5% from 2017; Components, with R$ 11.11 billion, or 5% more; Installation Materials, R$ 7.54 billion, up 2%; Telecommunications, at R$ 33.48 bi, up 5%; and GTD (Electric Power Generation, Transmission, and Distribution), with R$ 17.77 billion, 9% more than in 2017.<\/p>\n
