Gilson Santos Bertozzo, Superintendent of Sindisider \u2013 National Union of Steel Product Distribution Companies, speaks about the importance of Tubotech, <\/strong>serving as a great showcase for establishing businesses at national and international levels. The 9th edition of the International Trade Fair for Tubes, Valves, Pumps, Fittings and Components<\/strong> strongly showcases the full potential of the pipe and tube industries in the country. \u201cThe current situation that industries are going through makes an event of this magnitude revitalize our energies to move forward\u201d<\/em>, she pointed out.<\/p>\n

The executive addressed the value of the steel industry in the country, which is a basic input for the civil construction, machinery, and automotive equipment industries, in other words, areas that demand large capital investments. \u201cAs the Brazilian economy shows timid signs of recovery, investments are following that same pace.<\/em><\/p>\n

However, regarding medium- and long-term expectations, Gilson states that they are the best possible. \u201cIt is impossible to look at a country with a housing deficit like ours and with the gigantic infrastructure needs (heavy construction) that we have, without being optimistic about the future of steel. There will be no breath of growth in Brazil without the steel industry participating as a protagonist in this movement. The big catch is managing to survive until that happens.<\/em><\/p>\n

The industries that manufacture and market pipes are those represented. \u201cThus, it is a great satisfaction to participate in and support Tubotech, an event with such a wide reach that serves to demonstrate how modern and technological our industrial park is in this sector, second to none in any other country,\u201d, <\/em>Finish.<\/p>\n

In this edition, Tubotech will bring together hundreds of exhibitors in 20 thousand square meters, featuring tubes, valves, and fittings, machinery and equipment\u2014forming machines, cutting machines\/saws, tube bending machines, and polishing machines\u2014and services such as tube bending, curving, galvanizing, and welding.<\/p>\n

Simultaneously, the 3rd edition of the wire South America, <\/strong>South American version of the world's largest wire and cable trade fair, wire D\u00fcsseldorf. WSA will present the latest technologies, products, and services in wire and cable manufacturing and processing. The events will take place from October 3 to 5, 2017, at the S\u00e3o Paulo Expo, in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n
