According to the executive, Brazil presents a plenty of opportunities to ensure the higher investment in sanitation. &#8220;The Brazilian National Plan for Basic Sanitation was launched with initial investments forecast above BRL 508 billion to the universalization of water, sewage, wastes and drainage services between 2014 and 2033.<em> Until this moment, BRL 70 billion were applied in resources to works in the industry. It is necessary to build-up a long-term plan, ensuring the quality of the systems that will be implemented. In addition to the opportunities to companies interested in the sector, whether by PPP (Private-Public Partnership) or other modalities&#8221;. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Highlighting the issue of the scenario of the sector and with data from the Ministry of Cities, investments in basic sanitation should be BRL 1,230 billion in 2017, 24% lower than the one applied in 2016. &#8220;The resources destined to basic sanitation enterprises in the states fell 30.3% in the accumulated in 12 months until April 2017.<em> This shows that the economic crisis has directly impacted the public finances, with repercussions on works essential to the country.&#8221;\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pladevall further emphasized that sanitation ventures are essential for the reduction of numerous diseases, as well as having a direct impact on tourism and the development of localities. <em>&#8220;The federal government needs to seek alternatives to continue these ventures,&#8221; he said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In a context of resumption and new opportunities in this segment and several other segments of the infrastructure, <strong>Tubotech <\/strong>| <strong>International Fair of Pipes, Valves, Pumps, Connectors and Components<\/strong>, holds its 9<sup>th<\/sup> edition in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The event, created in 2003, is consolidated as the main trade fair for the sector, and it is expected to bring together <strong>hundreds of exhibitors<\/strong>*, in 20 thousand square meters, and aims to attract about 15 thousand highly qualified professionals from the automotive, oil and gas, metal construction, food, furniture, mining, paints and infrastructure industry, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The fair, which has free entrance for professionals, covers an extensive line of products, such as raw materials, pipes, fittings and accessories, valves, pumps and motor pumps, machines for production, cutting and forming, finishing, tools, auxiliary materials and measurement, and control.<\/p>\n<p>Tubotech is organized by Cipa Fiera Milano, promoted by Tarcom Promo\u00e7\u00f5es, and hold by ABITAM (Brazilian Metal Tubes and Accessories Industry Association). Among the simultaneous attractions is the Techshow | Exhibitors&#8217; Lectures, with discussions on the interest for the market development.<\/p>\n<p>Simultaneously, the 3rd edition of <strong>wire South America<\/strong>, the South American version of the largest wire and cable trade fair in the world, wire D\u00fcsseldorf, will be held. WSA will present the most recent technologies, products and services in the manufacturing and processing of wire and cables.
